Beef Sukiyaki at Kiku Zakura, Berjaya Times Square
Tonight, I had beef sukiyaki and iced green tea at Kiku Zakura, Berjaya Times Square.
For appetizer, they served unagi (eel) wrapped in beancurd skin.
The set comes with beef sukiyaki, salad, rice, pickles, miso soup and watermelon.
The beef sukiyaki was a generous portion in a salty sweet light based soup. There were about 10 to 15 slices of thinly sliced beef, spring onions, tofu, green vegetable (I don't know the name but in cantonese, we call it tong-po choy), mushroom, onion, carrot, konnyaku (a type of jelly) noodles and a raw egg that was added in that hot stone bowl of sukiyaki broth.
See...here are some of the stuff that was in the sukiyaki which I scooped out...
Everything was yummy as usual. The total damage done was RM31.05. Not bad for a healthy balanced meal.
